MOST is only compatible with
select devices and requires FabSoft's
Reform Enterprise/PDC.
Other requirements may apply depending
on the desired workflow.
Modular
Object Scanning Technology (MOST)
provides on-demand distribution
of documents right from the
convenience of the multi-function
peripheral (MFP). With just
one trip to the MFP, users can
copy and route documents to
printers, fax, email and archive
systems, and specify options
for each destination. So if
a user scans a document that
needs to be emailed to another
department, faxed to a client,
archived to the company's
document repository, and printed;
all four actions can be completed
right from the MOST interface
on the MFP screen. MOST even
integrates with back-end databases,
so recipient contact information
can be searched for and selected.
Additionally, the appearance
of the MOST interface can be
customized using the MOST Designer.
Screens can be created for individual
users or groups, and designed
specifically for their particular
document activities.

process, demonstrates features, and
explains various applications.

A Closer
Look at MOST
With Modular Object Scanning
Technology (MOST), users can input specific
document routing information right from
the MFP screen.
Scan to Fax and Email
- Scanned documents can be
distributed to fax and email systems.
Enter in any fax number, email address,
subject and notes. MOST also makes
information stored in company databases
available at the MFP screen so users
can select fax cover page templates
and search through stored email
addresses and fax numbers.
Scan to Archive Systems
- MOST seamlessly integrates
with major archive systems like
DocumentMall, so users can configure
their documents to be automatically
archived. Specify directory locations,
indexes, descriptions, document
types, etc. right from the MFP screen.
Scan to Printers
- From the MFP screen,
users can print scanned documents
to any printer on the network and
control all finishing options. The
document can also be directly scanned,
printed to the device and then delivered
to the server for distributable
copy.
Scan to LDAP Home Directory
- Users can browse through their
LDAP home directory right from the
MOST interface on the MFP screen.
Scanned documents are automatically
sent to the LDAP folder that the
user selects.
Additional Features and Plug-Ins
Form
Filler - Form Filler
is a customized workflow of MOST
that simplifies form management.
Form Filler allows users to access
forms, fill them in with client
information, and distribute them
to printers, fax, email, and archive
systems - all from the MFP screen
or the user's desktop.
Form Medic
- Form Medic provides the same form
access capabilities as Form Medic,
but is designed specifically for
the healthcare industry.
OMR Bubble Sheets -
OMR Bubble Sheets are customizable
form worksheets that can be printed,
scanned, and archived using the
TagDoc integration with a MOST MFP.
PDF Options - Scanned
documents are routed as PDFs with
user control over options such as
passwords, encryption, access rights,
etc.
PrintToMe
- The PrintToMe feature allows users
to print documents from a local
or remote PC to the MOST Server.
Printing documents to the MOST Server
enables users to access them from
any MFP on the network.
PrintToMe
Mobile - PrintToMe
Mobile is a mobility printing application
for mobile smartphones that allows
the user to send documents via email
to an MFP for fast efficient printing.
Proximity Card Integration
- MOST integrates with proximity
cards, allowing companies to leverage
their existing cards in order to
log in to the MFP.
Track-able Scanning
- With MOST, documents can be tracked
as they are scanned. This feature
allows users to trace the flow of
a document and ensures their delivery.
Customize Workflows with the Designer
With the Designer, MFP screen
display settings can be
modified per user and groups.
The Designer is a "what
you see is what you get"
design tool for easy drag &
drop customization of the
MFP screen display. Different
collections can be created
with tabs customized according
to the usage routines of
each department or group.
For example, the Front Office
Collection can have entirely
different tabs from the
Warehouse Collection because
their document activities
differ. MOST will recognize
the user and group upon
login at any MFP, and automatically
apply and display the screen
settings.
