FabSoft’s Reform Enterprise seamlessly connects to Castelle’s FaxPress and FaxPress Premier servers to provide enhancement of fax forms and automated fax deliveries for effortless and efficient faxing. Reform transforms the entire fax process into a simple, one-click operation. Once the user generates a document, Reform captures the print stream from any operating system or application, automatically retrieves the important fax information, enhances the information and sends the newly processed fax job to the Castelle fax server.

All of the extracted fax information such as fax number, company name, contact name, subject, and notes is automatically used to generate a cover page. Each fax can also be assigned a specific cover page in order to differentiate each type of form. With Reform's Form Designer, faxes can be enhanced by adding graphics, line objects, colors, and fonts; giving forms a consistent professional look. Reform can also recognize multiple fax numbers in a large print stream and intelligently send the fax to various destinations for bulk faxing.

Typical Automated Fax Example:

A purchase order agent routinely enters in and then prints out the purchase order to be faxed. With Reform, the purchase order agent simply enters in the order and Reform automatically continues the process. Reform then interfaces with the application by using the included capture and driver utility that captures the printer port. Instead of the purchase order ending up at the printer, it is captured and sent to Reform. When it is sent, Reform processes the purchase order against the pre-defined template that adds its logos, font size changes, and lines. Most importantly, it will extract the fax information; company name, contact name, fax number, subject, notes and cover page name for the document. Afterwards, the new reformatted document and the specific fax information are sent to the Castelle fax server. The Castelle fax server will have the fax job queued for sending in the outgoing box with all the necessary information and without any user intervention.

Integrating Reform and Castelle Fax Servers

Reform can be configured to send enhanced documents to the FaxPress or FaxPress Premier servers in the same way it is configured to send documents to a Windows printer driver. To the Castelle fax servers, Reform appears to be a FaxPress client. Reform can modify the FaxPress sending options, resolution, user and any other option allowable by Castelle's FaxPress API.
