Prior to Reform, Superior Seafoods was printing their invoices to three-part forms on a dot matrix printer, bursting forms and collating them into routes. When the products were delivered, the customer would sign a Proof of Delivery (POD) to confirm receipt. All signed PODs would then be collected and manually matched up to the shipping manifest. If there were any credits or returns, they would have to be entered into AS400, printed and sent out. All copies of invoices and credits would then be manually filed to file cabinets.

If any of these documents needed to be referenced in the future, personnel would have to manually search through and retrieve them from the file cabinets. Read more...

Prior to introducing FabSoft's Reform, Tag Doc and DocumentMall™, Freepath was using multi-part forms that needed to either be manually faxed, emailed or mailed to different doctors. The way documents were routed varied depending on who the doctor was and what they prefer. This method was a tremendous waste of time since each document had to be looked at in order to manually determine and configure delivery.

AFPD processes thousands of forms from their UNIX system on a daily basis. These forms include client policies and insurance quotes. AFPD was printing them on multi-part, pre-printed forms and using dot matrix printers. The costs associated with using this method were extremely high and AFPD was looking for a way to eliminate using these expensive forms.

Manufacturing-WarehouseRicoh Canada Inc. has numerous locations across the country, which include major warehouse locations, as well as smaller warehouses within their sales branches. These locations receive countless orders for equipment. Pick tickets are then printed that instruct warehouse staff which items need to be shipped to their customers or resellers. Previously, multi-part pre-printed forms were being purchased and inventoried at all of their locations and pick tickets were printed using line printers.

Manufacturing-SportsSpeedline Athletic Wear manufactures men’s and women’s custom team uniforms for high schools and universities across the country. Speedline was using multi-part forms in their daily operations. These multi-part forms were statements containing 29 parts and invoices with 4 parts. Each of the company branches uses a different set of multi-part forms, so whenever a different branch needed to print, they would have to manually change the forms in the dot matrix printer.

UAC has been using JD Edwards World ERP system running on an AS/400 mainframe. Some of UAC’s customers requested 8 copies of a document, but only one copy needed to be stored in eCabinet.
