Reform Form Editor is the program that allows users to enhance forms generated by their application. Using a WYSIWYG approach, you will find the Form Designer easy to use. In order for Reform to generate the printout that you need, you must create a template for each of your forms. The template serves as a new layout for each of the forms generated by your application. It is similar to pre-printed forms where the text is overlaid on the form. Whenever you generate a form output from your application, the form always has an extension FOM. If you are sending from a Windows application and the application
already has formatting or you are sending from an AS/400 using
AFP formatting. With these methods there is very little design
necessary because the application already has the formatting included
such as lines, graphics, colors etc. The Reform Designer can also
add additional formatting by mainly Reform will be used to distribute
the documents to the different output devices such as pinters,
MFPs, fax, email and archival storage systems. Reform will still
extract the ASCII/text information in order to do logical decisions
to decide maybe what devices to send the document to or just retrieve
the email or fax number from the document. To
