Reform license error
Issue:
When trying to use the Reform printer, an error comes up stating that it is not licensed for use.
Possible Causes:
The following are a list of the primary reasons why the Reform 2.0 license error will occur:
- Reform printer driver spooler folder directory doesn't match the Reform Spooler setup spooler folder.
- The Reform Printer version is the wrong version for the version of Reform Spooler
- The license file timed out due to the Spooler being off for a set number of hours.
- The Reform Printer is installed on a PC other than the primary Reform server and the Reform Printer on the non server PC does not use the Reform server's Spooler directory.
Everything was running fine but now nothing is printing.
Symptoms:
Nothing is printing and the Reform Spooler is running.
Cause:
A file in the spooler directory is locked by the file system, usually caused by a system crash or user intervention.
Solution:
Reboot the computer and delete the files in the Spooler directory.
Wrong or Default form is being used in Reform

Faxes and email are coming out very dark or black
Issue:
Faxes and email are coming out very dark or black and are unreadable
Cause:
- Not enough colors set in video driver.
- Incompatibility with the video card driver
Solution:
- Try increasing the number of colors in your video card reboot system.
- Update the driver or change the video card.
Creating a Dotted line
Issue:
For a "shape", the pen style is not selectable for a horizontal dotted line.
Solution:
You need to change to hairline, it should be in the very first selection in the pull down.
Access Violation at 77FCA776 in module ntdll.dll
Issue:
Default printer driver is causing an access violation
Symptoms:
Starting the Designer or Spooler the Windows error message Access Violation at address 77FCA776 in module ntdll.dll occurs
Cause:
The computer default print driver is faulty
Solution:
- Change the windows default printer driver
- Check the printer manufacturers site for the latest update
UNC names will cause the WinClient printer driver to have access problems
Issue:
When using the Reform Setup automatically determines the UNC paths for the Spooler and Forms directory the are not correct paths
Symptoms:
When printing to the Reform WinClient Printer driver an error message will say I/O error 67
Cause:
The UNC path in the Printer driver setup is not correct
Solution:
Determine the proper UNC or directory path
